The handling of asbestos is subject to special rules, because of the dangerous effect, of this substances on the health of employees and the environment. Certain policies and rules belong to the agenda of a responsibly managed factory.
The recasting of ordinance on Hazardous Substances is after intensive revision, in December 2004 published. If employees are exposed to asbestos exposure (risk identification, see §7), measures, of protection level 4 of the ordinance on hazardous substances (sections 8 to 11), have to be carried out (highest level of protection). Additional measures for the protection asbestos are against danger of in section 2.4 of annex III, No. 2 stated. According to annex IV No. 1 consists for asbestos and out of it produced preparations and products a manufacture and use ban.
