We recommend to use Lead Free Labels (pb) to mark your lead free products, or to designate equipment and materials that are used for lead free production. These labels have been proposed as an industry standard to indicate that connectors, passive components and other items meet current European ECC standards. The European DIRECTIVE 2002/95/EC Restriction of the use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment or "RoHS" mandates that new electrical and electronic equipment must not contain lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) or polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) beginning on July 1, 2006. This green and with adhesive labels shows the "pb" symbol. Samples are usually available at no charge upon request.
